Bloody Roar: Primal Fury

Since there are so many 3-D fighting games on the market, it takes something special to make one stand out. Bloody Roar: Primal Fury, the fourth installment in the BR series, may not have the deft moves of a Dead or Alive 3 or the detail of a Virtua Fighter 4, but it does have…a kung-fu penguin! And what’s cooler than that? Transformation into killer mutant animals has always made Bloody Roar a fun game to play, and the GameCube really brings out the flying fur and breakaway sets. Adding two new characters to the mix (the aforementioned penguin, and a guy who can transform into an elephant) and great anime cinematics, this is a fighting game for those not satisfied with beating up mere humans.
