Latrell Sprewell broke his hand on a yacht, the second coming of Shawn Bradley was chosen number one, and old man Jordan might come off the bench. Yep, the NBA is in a sad state of affairs these days, and unfortunately, so is EA’s hoop nightmare. Forget about playing defense in this slamfest. In less than two quarters of play, we had every Washington Wizard scoring in double digits, and worse yet, Jordan even had a good shooting percentage. It’s hard to diss a game that looks so realistic (Iverson’s still rocking ’rows), but there’s just something wrong when the only way to stop anyone from driving to the bucket is by taking away their keys to the stadium.
