Its nice to see a George Lucas joint in which shoddy character development and clunky dialogue dont detract from the funnamely, blasting storm trooper armies to smithereens. Playing as a Jedi big cheeseObi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, or Mace Winduis cool enough, but getting to level entire battlefields with heavy artillery is even better. Sure, we can think of many things more worth cloning than garden-variety arcade shoot-em-ups (stem cells, Jessica Alba), but we do have to give LucasArts credit for making even the repetitive turn-and-shoot game play strikingly visceral. Both the solo and multiplayer options deliver the explosive goods, but for maximum entertainment value try betting with friends on the strategy-based Conquest mode. Loser has to sponge-bathe Jabba!
