For those who sneer at the concept of country clubs but are too scared to get busted at the local Putt-Putt, we suggest Hot Shots Golf Fore. The game touts rejiggered physics and realistic playing conditions, but all that goes out the window when you're smacking drives as Regis the talking midget bulldog, or any of the other 24 caricature duffers in the game. For the invalid fan who wants to keep it in the clubhouse, Fore! also adds online playing capability. But even if you lack broadband, the bizarre characters and 13 arcade-style courses to choose from will keep you giddier than Carl Spackler on a gofer hunt.
