He may be an endorsement-grubbing action sports whore, but that Tony Hawk sure knows how to slap his name on some nifty games. Even TH sequels extruded with Friday the 13th regularity manage to torque the franchise in new directions, as with this latest version in which youre a skater recruited by Hawk to challenge Jackass casualty Bam Margera and his posse on a World Destruction Tour. Huge, international levels are filled with goals such as slapping stickers on landmarks, defacing monuments with your custom graffiti tag, and, like, totally breaking stuff, dude. If the story mode isnt enough, revamped classic levels from the earlier Hawk games give you extra opportunities to crush virtual vertebrae. Though it all adds up to, essentially, a tuned-up version of the last game, theres enough variation to keep your rebel skater spirit from getting too (sorry) board.
