Time heals all wounds or at least allows us to convert those wounds into profitable video games that can scar a whole new generation of youngsters. While Vietnam led to millions of deaths and continues to splinter our nation, on the plus side, it now gives fans of the Conflict series (Desert Storm, Desert Storm II) a chance to fight in a nonMiddle Eastern environment. You control a team of four soldiers cut off behind enemy lines by the Tet Offensive in this shooter that features lush jungle graphics (who knew Nam was so pretty?) and a great classic rock score. So far so good, but unfortunately, figuring out how to work the controller is absolutely infuriating, meaning you go into firefights against stealthy Charlie with no knowledge of your environment, opponent, or weapon. Man, this game truly is realistic!
