Coded Arms takes a Buzz Aldrinlike step onto the PSP as the second shooter to bring messy first-person violence to the popular handheld. The game revolves around a virtual reality system designed to simulate an alien invasion, only it's shut down after a defect is found. Unhappily, the system continues to evolve on its own. Even more unhappily, you elected to hack into itdumbasstrapping yourself in a world of virtual aliens determined to exact revenge on the idiots (read: you) who created them. It all adds up to a decent shooter with 30 weapons to keep you trigger-happy while alternating between single- and four-player "Deathmatch" and "Last Man Standing" modes. And thankfully, the manageable controls, while utilizing every last button, arent baffling to learnas long as you conclude play before your third breakfast margarita.
