By transplanting the action out of La-La Land and into the City That Never Sleeps, the second True Crime installment has gotten bigger, stronger, and smellier. As a gangbanger turned cop, this Grand Theft Auto–esque crime drama lets you run free like Oprah at a buffet. The arresting, fighting, and shooting action is more involved and engaging now that your character has been equipped with new moves. Also, the gritty story, varied side missions, and jittery subway rides create the type of seedy environment that's perfect for attracting tourists, gamers, and criminals alike.
