A game for those who think they don't make 'em like they used to, but should, Shodown is an exact replica of the classic arcade fighter. Attention to old-school details includes the same anime-looking characters, cheesy music, and dated menu fonts as the Johnny Carson-era original. It's so exact, in fact, that its online options might upset some purists. But while modern warriors will lament its lack of 3D graphics and curvaceous villains, anyone who remembers hoarding quarters will dig this retro trip.
