When Dr. Doom stirs up trouble—he's not a real doctor, but he plays one on TV—it's up to Activision to put out yet another superhero game to stop him. You choose from 25 heroes—some great (Spider-man, Thing, etc.), some less so (Elektra, Blade, etc.). If you've played Activsion's X-Men: Legends games, get ready for some serious déjà vu. You put together your band of ass-kickers a la X-Men, then work your way through a series of linear environments beating the Taco Bell out of everything in your path, including some truly ginormous bosses. There are some RPG elements, unlockable costumes (sorry, no Elektra nude code), but only hardcore Marvel fans will involuntarily ejaculate over this disc.
