Ready to use your Wii controller for something seedy and violent? Us, too. Red Steel is here to put a little blood on your hands. Sucked into the criminal underworld after your smoking-hot Asian fiancee is kidnapped and her dad whacked, you'll have to wield your Wiimote like it's a submachine gun and/or a katana in order to teach those Yakuza dipshits a lesson. This first-person shooter doesn't have the polish that, say, F.E.A.R. on the Xbox 360 has. And trying to simply turn around while standing in place to see who the fuck is writing his name on your backside with his AK-47's bullets takes a painfully long amount of time. Can the Wii do first-person shooters? Yes, it can. But is using the Wiimote any better than using a standard controller? Nope. Is this question/answer thing getting annoying? Yes, it really is.
