Man, Ubisoft has been on a Tony Romo-style roll lately. Splinter Cell: Double Agent= great. G.R.A.W.= great. Red Steel= er, let's skip Red Steel, shall we? After the last few arcade-y run-and-gun installments in the Rainbow Six series, Vegas takes the game back to its breach-and-clear roots. This isn't about being a Master Chief-style/one-man army/Ted Nugent-esque bad-ass. It's about looking for angles, using your squad effectively, sneaking up on unsuspecting terrorists, and showing them just how mother-fucking silent but deadly you are. Expect tense, room-clearing gun battles that will leave your armpits damp and your Hanes soiled. The graphics on the 360 are simply gorgeous, the multiplayer is masterful, and the whole damn package is just about everything you could ever hope for in a first-person shooter.
