We love video game golf because the only walking we have to do is to the fridge to get a fresh can of suds. Tiger's latest game gets the Wii treatment. The verdict: While it's not as awesome as we'd hoped it would be, it's still pretty fucking solid. Our biggest gripe: There's a vague disconnect between you and your on-screen golfer. When we're doing our backswing, he should be doing his backswing. Instead, we spent the game trying to convince him to do what we wanted him to do. Sound petty? You'll see what we mean when you try it. The whole point of the Wii is to put us into the game and not to create a new, annoying forum where we have to negotiate with our pixelated swinger. There's promise here, so we're guessing that '08 will be great.
