When we first saw this game at a press event in New York a few months back, we wrote in our notes, "Tetris meets lame." But after sinking about 40 hours into the cartridge so far, and skipping our AA meetings, wow, are we ever eating crow now. Though the game's name instantly changes us into narcoleptics, the oddball game play—not "Tetris meets lame," but more like "Bejeweled meets Oblivion"—has you kicking your enemies' asses by solving puzzles. It's cerebral and goofy and more addictive than string cheese, all at once. You can even capture enemies, train them, and use them as mounts. Which is eerily identical to what we did while courting our wives.
