Break out the handguns and short-shorts, people, because it's time once again to walk a mile in Lara Croft's shoes. Eidos pays homage to the 1996 original Lara Croft Tomb Raider with this loving do-over. Now each one of Lara's boobs have hundreds of polygons. Yes, hundreds! And the graphics are so fucking crisp—even on the ancient PS2—that you can practically see Lara's camel toe. Yes, camel toe! You'll trek from the depths of Atlantis to the tops of the Egyptian pyramids, just like you did in the original. And who knows, you might even cross paths with a T-Rex along the way. It doesn't top the more action-packed Legend, and there are still far too many awkward deaths—for someone who seems so acrobatic during cut scenes, Lara all too often wobbles off cliffs like Liza Minnelli on a Robitussin bender—but still, no game will get both your thumbs and libido fired up quite like this one does.
