This is one of the best-selling PSP games of all time over in Japan, but will this shit fly in the States? Yes and no. Like tempura, bukkake, and Dice-K, Monster Hunter Freedom 2 is an acquired taste. Your job is to protect your tiny rural village—think Deadwood, minus the whores—from an onslaught of invading monsters. With 250 quests and over 70 different monsters to lay low, including some positively gigantic bastards later in the game, this UMD is crammed tight with literally hundreds of hours of game play. The initial learning curve is steep as hell, but get over that hump, and you'll have a good reason, the first in a really long time, to fire up ye olde PSP.
