While Splinter Cell star Sam Fisher was still in short pants and sucking on his mama's booby, clean-shaven Gabe Logan was already busy inventing the whole special ops/silent-but-deadly genre in the Syphon Filter series. Sure Gabe's name is vaguely womanish. And we're still not sure what the hell "syphon filter" even means. But the games? They've always been supremely cool. This is a PSP-to-PS2 port. The only difference: progressive scan on your HDTV. So if you failed to play it on the small screen, here's your chance to correct that little oversight. Brace yourself for 30 missions, smoke bombs, the ability to electrocute bad guys, and a heat scope that you can use on hottie sidekick Lian Xing's crotch region. Now, if only the game shipped at a more wallet-friendly $20 instead of $40, we'd have a must-buy on our hands.
