Ultimate Carnage upholds the series' tradition of having über-violent minigames—including one where you must slam on the brakes and send your driver barreling through the windshield of your car and skipping across a pool of water—but it also has some totally gratifying racing action this time around. What's it like? Well, it's like Burnout…starring Bo and Luke Duke. The backwoods locales are so frighteningly realistic, we were afraid that if we broke down, some hillbilly would emerge from the underbrush and ask us to squeal like a pig for him. The cars are still a tiny bit too floaty—burp, Charlie, burp!—but across the board this is a much tighter game. Four words: Gentlemen! Fart! Your! Engines!
