This game is so utterly unremarkable and personality-free that we literally fell asleep while playing it. And we woke up with a spot of drool on our paisley tie and a piece of morning wood in our chinos. Though there are a few people around the office that swear by the PGR games—even though those people are losers, not to mention chronic peepee touchers—we simply can't, as Smokey Robinson once astutely put it, second that emotion. Career mode has been totally rebuilt around a September-through-January racing season. Select your vehicle—motorcycles make their debut this time around—then participate in a mix of street races, cone challenges, etc. You'll also have the chance to participate in the occasional invitational, where, if you win, you get to keep the car you drive. The dynamic weather system means that it could snow or piss down rain at any time during your races. And, yes, you still have to earn those annoyingly named "kudos" while driving. Every time we hear the word "kudos," for some reason we want to beat a puppy to death with a Slim Jim. Make it stop!
