Does EA's new basketball sim have that new-baller sim smell? Sure does. The arenas received some nice visual tweaks this year—they're now so life-like you can almost smell the $7 hot dogs and under-the-bleachers vomit. Like this year's Madden, player animations have been smoothed out, meaning your baller's movements look more life-like than ever. 08 also features Dynamic Post Control, which gives you 20 new offensive post moves to fool with. More than 70 all-time classic teams have been crammed onto the disc, letting you re-create your favorite old-timey matchups. Online leagues are also up and running, meaning you and your pals—up to 32 players in total—can have your own personal Final Four run. Finally, Dynasty mode has a nifty new variable called School Pride, a feature that lets you rename streets after yourself, upgrade your weight room, and even add cheerleaders. Whether or not said cheerleaders wear virtual panties, that's up to your sick, pervy little mind to figure out.
