The Skinny: Everyone's favorite beeping trash can makes his top-billing debut, sneaking through missions to clear the good name of his friend Ratchet, who's been accused of stealing the Eye of Infinity.

The Good: If you've ever played a Ratchet & Clank game, you'll notice quite a different setting here. Emphasis is placed on stealth rather than annihilating enemies, and the weapons arsenal tilts toward the neutralize-the-threat sort. There's also a wide variety of game play modes, including the rhythm-based breaking and entering of a museum.

The Bad: Whatever story structure and funny dialogue went into making R&C Future: Tools of Destruction didn't quite make its way to this latest offering. Couple that with an arsenal of weapons as unappealing as a Desperate Housewives marathon, and you'll be scratching your head wondering why you're so bored.

Eye Have You: Look up the Eye of Infinity on Google Images and this thing pops up. We smell a lawsuit!

Buy, Rent, or Disembowel? Even for fans, this is a rental at best. For everyone else, just pretend it never happened.
