The Skinny: Oh great—the Olympics are back.

The Good: The game is available at a bargain price of $49.99 for the 360 and PS3.

The Bad: We're only going to tell you this once: YOUR HANDS WILL HURT LIKE HELL AFTER AN HOUR. Why? Well, while Sega has "drastically improved game controls," there is still a crapload of button-mashing to do. Plus, you can only run the 200-meter race so many times before you begin wondering what your friends are doing on Call of Duty 4. Online leaderboards provide a marginal reason for replay, but even then it's not worth it because no one cares if you're the world record holder in a video game javelin throw.

Olympic Fail: None of the actual athletes from the Games are in the game.

Buy, Rent, or Boycott? Boycott. Virtual Beijing's as polluted as the real one.
