Silent Hill 4: The Room

While we’re content to stay imprisoned in our apartment for as long as the Cheetos hold out, Henry Townshend, the main character of this bloodcurdling adventure, wants out so badly he’ll crawl through a slimy portal next to the toilet. He pops out in creepy environments, like a children’s prison and an abandoned subway station, each populated by ghostly hillbillies, baby-headed vulture thingies, and décor swiped from the set of Se7en. The bizarre levels and challenging puzzles remain engrossing even when you start asking the never-answered question, “What’s the point?”
