Crave, you read our minds. We've been itching for a snowmobile game (or maybe that's just another herpes flare-up?) for what seems like forever. Unfortunately, this game isn't exactly the snowmobile racing game we had in mind. In our game, we would have missions like "Beer Run 1" and "Beer Run 2" and "First One to the Lodge Gets to Use the Outhouse First." Our game's tricks would involve trying to open a fresh can of Bud while traveling at 60-plus M.P.H.. Anyway, this game features ZERO levels called "Beer Run 1." Which is a shame, really. Overall, Snocross 2 isn't bad. It just lacks the flavor and spirit of real snowmobile riding. The controls are a bit dodgy (but workable), the graphics are very boldly last-gen, and the music is about as satisfying as having an ice pick slowly inserted into your ear. Still, being the only snowmobiling game currently living in our PS2 game collection, we'll play it anyway.
