As if the potential for broken bones and severe ass burn didn’t make snowboarding extreme enough, SSX on the PS2 takes it to a whole new level. After selecting your boarder and equipment, you speed down winding courses that would make sane boarders shake with fear. Winning races in each circuit is the main goal, but aggressive racing and executing eye-popping stunts are also rewarded. WCW’s Mean Gene announces the action, while original and thumping tunes from Mix Master Mike blare in your ear. Suffice it to say, this isn’t only one of the best looking and most intense PlayStation 2 game, it’s also hands down the loudest.
