Starsky & Hutch

The classic striped Gran Torino is back, and this time you’re the funky badass behind the wheel, careening through traffic to wa-wa pedal beats. In this nostalgia-fueled thrill ride, you get to chase perps, lay rubber, and even bribe Huggy Bear (voiced by Antonio “I need work” Fargas himself), all without having to struggle with flyaway hair and ball-punishing tight jeans. Although it’s mostly Crazy Taxi–like driving, a cooperative mode lets one player take the wheel while another takes potshots at bad guys with a peripheral light gun at the same time. If it weren’t for mediocre graphics and some sloppy controls, this could easily compete with the Starsky & Hutch lunchbox for our affection.
