Actually, Tao Feng is a graphically slick martial arts game that’s head-and-bloody-shoulders above the competition for the visible damage you can inflict on opponents. While most fighting games settle for Itchy and Scratchy–style cartoon carnage, these over-the-top brawlers endure bruises, gaping wounds, shattered limbs, and (gasp!) runny mascara as they go to work in highly detailed battle arenas. Consider it Mortal Kombat’s nastier, more advanced little brother…who’s got a better grasp of spelling.
