The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth II

Tolkien groupies hoping said "battle" refers to one particular hobbit's quest to uncover his own deep-rooted sexuality will be sorely disappointed. What you get is something much more epic: an intense, detailed real-time strategy opus à la Command & Conquer that, at points, populates the screen with hundreds of orcs, goblins, and elves. It even extends online via Xbox Live, complete with mini-modes like King of the Hill.
