Ah, freedom. Not only is Sam Fischer fighting to defend it, but now he gets to exercise it in matters of murder. Chaos Theory, the sequel to Pandora Tomorrow, takes place in 2008 and finds everyone's favorite NSA black-ops agent struggling to combat information warfare. This means a lot of stress for him and an arsenal of cool gadgets for you—thermoptic camouflage suits, electronic jammers, and heartbeat detectors. No longer is there just one way to solve a treacherous night mission before the enemy picks up your audio signature: stealth will pay off just as well as good old-fashioned ultraviolence. For those reluctant to go it alone, cooperative online play will pair you up with an Internet wingman to get your back—or shoot you in it. Even better, you get points for taunting people as you kill them. The question is not whether to get this game, but which system to get it for. (Hint: the Xbox version has full headset support.) Let the backstabbing begin!
