Tomb Raider pretty much pioneered the jugs n guns adventure-game genre, and for that, hey, were grateful. But aside from a slightly more rounded and realistic Lara Croft, this latest (and last?) version is about as much of a revelation as George Michael admitting he likes guys. Mostly theres just more of the same pulling levers, scurrying around ancient burial sites, and searching for the lost whats-it du jour offered by the previous three versions. And the clunky controls and endless sandstone-block backgrounds are greatif being sealed in a tomb is your idea of a good time. In other words, well wait till Angelina Jolie fleshes out our favorite sex-bomb explorer on the big screen for our next Lara Croft fix.
