Twisted Metal: Black is a road rager’s dream come true. In this gloomy and addictive car combat game, you get behind the wheel of vehicles designed to pulverize anything with a motor into dust. This isn’t your normal destruction derby, however. Your weapons include guided missiles, electricity fields, and one special (and deliciously appropriate) weapon to dispose of Sunday drivers: A zealot who jumps onto enemy cars and yells “Repent!” before blowing a gaping hole in their roof. Holy shit, indeed.
