The PS3 is still struggling to get up off the mat after a downright crappy first year, and Uncharted is here to breathe new life into the big-box-that-couldn't. You play as Nathan Drake, wise-ass adventurer who obviously graduated from the Indiana Jones Institute for Higher Learning with honors. Add a cigar-chomping sidekick named Sullie, and a nosy news reporter/short-pants-wearing hottie named Elena, and voilà, it's Pitfall for the new millennium. This jungle-centric adventure will keep your digits busy with puzzle-solving, cliff-shimmying, and duck-and-cover fire fights. The writing is great, the graphics are great, and this game actually has a totally gripping third act. Which is pretty much a first for a video game.
