Unreal II: The Awakening

The first Unreal made its name on, well, its unreal visuals, but we had no idea how saucy a first-person shooter could look until we tried the sequel. The eye-popping alien gunfodder and whiz-bang weapons in this sci-fi romp alone make it well worth juicing up your PC, though the real awakening in this game is your leather-clad briefing officer. Yeah, her mission tips aren’t very helpful, but frankly, we don’t really give a damn what intel she gives us, just so long as she keeps dressing like she moonlights at the Bunny Ranch.
