World Series Baseball 2K2

If the boys of summer took a cue from Babe Ruth and got liquored up before a game, the results would look something like this. World Series 2K2 is Major League without Wild Thing, but is every bit as comical. Pitching the ball feels like you’re playing in slow-motion: A fastball could be timed with a sundial and the change-up…well, the change-up might as well be thrown underwater. Once the ball is in play, the shenanigans continue as outfielders run slower than George Wendt and catch the ball with odd parts of their body. While this drunken edition of America’s pastime may be fine and dandy for Darryl Strawberry, it’s not amusing for hardcore baseball fans.
