Watch a Jet Engine Completely Disintegrate a Tickle-Me-Elmo
This looks like a scene out of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Jet engines are powerful machines. They’re one of the finest examples of human engineering, harnessing of Newton’s law of motion to power everything from commercial jets to go-karts. You never, ever want to stand behind one in action.
Anyway, the monsters at Powermodz decided to put a Tickle-Me-Elmo doll behind a 2,500-horsepower jet engine. The results of the video, shot in 2014 but circulating around the Web on Thursday for some strange reason, are both hilarious and disturbing.
This may look awfully familiar to Indiana Jones fans:
