She joined pop quintet Girl Thing in 1999 at the age of 16. Assembled by American Idol judge and professional douchebag Simon Cowell, the pseudo–Spice Girls hit the U.K. top 10 with their ditty “Last Ones Standing.” However, the group broke up a year later.
