The Machine Woman in Metropolis (1927)

A silent German film from 1927 may not be the most logical place to look for some fine female curves, but the groundbreaking Metropolis gave us the iconic, polarizing Machinenmensch femme-bot. Actress Brigitte Helm suffered greatly for her art, as this costume supposedly left her badly bruised, scratched and pinched.

I like your list but you could've included Summer Glau as the Terminator and for her role in Serenity and Jeri Ryan for seven of nine..gotta have her too :p

Where are more Star Trek hotties? Nichelle Nichols, Zoe Saldana, Jeri Ryan? Most of these are just "guy F*ckable" types and not true beauties.

Where is my #1, Jolene Blalock as T'Pol on Star Trek Enterprise?

Half the relatively sizable audience of Star Trek Voyager just watched for Jeri Ryan's Seven of Nine. The list is baddest babes, and it doesn't get much badder'n the Borg. I enjoyed the obscure references to The Machine Woman from 1927, etc, but with only 17 slides, there was room for Seven and probably T'Pol (though her reign was brief, "perky" should count for something)

I agree that Seven and T'Pol should be included, but don't forget Tasha from the early days of ST*NG.

what happened to Ripley?

I agree with many above where are... Ripley? Seven of Nine? Summer as Terminator or River Tam? Buffy or Faith!!!??? and should have used Claudia Black as Aeryn Sun from Farscape or Vala from Stargate. Much more badass.

This is about bad ass women in SciFi. Not most skillful, hottest or smartest. We are talkinâ?? killers. I have never seen Ripley left off a list like this. She was replaced by Amidalla and her bad ass hair. Always forgotten is Susan Ivanova from B5 â??Who am I? I am Susan Ivanova, Commander. Daughter of Andre and Sophie Ivanov. I am the right hand of vengeance and the boot that is going to kick your sorry ass all the way back to Earth, sweetheart! I am death incarnate, and the last living thing that you will ever see. God sent me.â?? Death incarnate followed by a boom. That is bad ass

If you seriously expect me to click 17 times to see all 17 points, you are as insane as you think I am. This idiotic design has to stop.

Is this only limited to movies? otherwise, how could you leave out Jessica Alba as Max in "Dark Angel?" Genetic manipulation never looked (or kicked) so good!
