2009 Dallas Mavericks Dancers

What’s the best and worst thing about being a NBA dancer?

The best thing about being a NBA dancer would have to be doing something I love such as dancing. On top of that, you get to dress up in cute outfits and cheer on a professional basketball team, its exhilarating. Go Mavs! The worst things would have to be not being able to dance on the court every game, since only a select amount dance each game.

It was probably a huge accomplishment to become a NBA dancer, now that you’ve reached this, what’s your next dream or goal?

I would like to stay involved in professional sports somehow, like Jillian the weather woman for Fox NFL Sunday. Fun! A dream would have to be to settle down with the man of my dreams.

Jock or Nerd. Which one would you really rather settle down with?

I hate to say it but if I had to pick one over the other, it would have to be a jock. They have nice bodies and you can always depend on them to handle the tough situations.

Why is your team the best to cheer for?

I've had opportunities to cheer for other teams but chose not to because I love the Mavericks. The whole organization is great and Mark Cuban is a great guy.

Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?

I really like Steve Nash! His playing style is so fun to watch. My first year on the team in 2002, Nash played for us, so I got to watch him live every night. I also had the opportunity to be in the first Mavs dancer calendar ever made, and wore a sweat band on my arm with his nickname "Nasty".
