How You Know Her: She got her first big break on the soap General Hospital when she was just eleven years-old. Since then, Amber's appeared on such TV shows as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, CSI: Miami, and Without a Trace before starring in the series Joan of Arcadia. On the big screen, she's explored a variety of genres, appearing in the horror flicks The Ring and The Grudge 2, as well as starring in the tween sensation The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and its sequel. Now, she stars in the new TV series The Unusuals, a cop drama with a silver lining of comedy. In the show she plays a new detective on the New York City police force. It looks like Amber's all grown-up now that she's traded in her traveling pants for a badge and a gun. The NYPD never looked so good.
We like a woman in uniform: "I have some scenes where I've got my boobs up to my chin in a hooker outfit when I go undercover as a prostitute, which is kind of hilarious. But, for the most part, my character isn't really sexy when she has her cop outfit on. She doesn't wear heels or nail polish and a lot of makeup." -Parade Magazine
