Where You’ve Seen Her: Unless you’re a foreign film connoisseur, this French beauty may be new on your radar. She received the “Most Promising Actress” César Award for 2006’s Je vais bien, ne t'en fais pas (I’m Fine, Don’t Worry), and received a nomination for “Best Short Film” at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival for her movie De moins en moins, in which she wrote and directed. She was tapped by Quentin Tarantino for a role in Inglourious Basterds, which opens in the U.S. on Aug. 21.

Sexy and Multi Talented: In 2008, Melanie directed A ses pieds, an erotic short film that aired on the French television channel Canal+.
