Scout Taylor-Compton

Birthday: February 21, 1989
Hometown: Long Beach, CA

Where You’ve Seen Her: Known for her roles in horror films, this actress/singer is frequently referred to as “the scream queen.” Some of the movies you may recognize her gut-wrenching scream from include Wicked Little Things (2006), An American Crime (2007) and Obsessed (2008). Her most notable role is as Laurie Strode in 2007’s Halloween remake and this summer’s Halloween II, out August 28. One can only hope she survives so we can see more of her!

Voice of an Angel: Taylor-Compton is currently recording her debut album, working with pop singer Vitamin C. She’s also provided voice-over work for several films, including The Core (2003), The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (2004) and the teen hero comedy Sky High (2005).

I've been curious about her since I first saw her credits on a number of "Charmed" episodes. Now I really get to see her.
