Hometown: Santa Monica, CA

How You Know Her: Amber started her career as a 12-year-old on General Hospital (1995) but broke through with a starring role on CBS’ Joan of Arcadia (2003-05). With TV success, Tamblyn jumped to the big screen, nabbing film credits such as The Grudge 2 (2005) and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 (2008). You can catch her alongside Michael Douglas in the upcoming film noir Beyond a Reasonable Doubt, which sees a limited release starting September 11.
