How You Know Her: Although her career began with cutie-pie roles in Iron Eagle (1986) and Summer School (1987), she quickly found her niche in scary movies. Chilling turns include The Blob (1988), Carnival of Souls (1998), and the straight-to-DVD sequel The Grudge 3 (2009). Though she wasn't a scream queen while a regular on the sitcom Becker, her most high-profile role to date came in the form of Jigsaw’s apprentice killer, Amanda Young, in the Saw series (Shawnee has appeared in each installment). With Saw VI in theaters October 23, you can count on us grabbing a seat to check out Shawnee...just keep the jaw-snapping devices off of our heads, please.
Rock Steady: Shawnee once toured with the band Fydolla Ho, which she formed with Metallica's bassist Robert Trujillo. Her second latest musical affiliation is Smith & Pyle, a country-rock duo with actress Missi Pyle.
