Skip that screening of When in Rome and check out Hollywood's hottest pond-jumpers instead

Sarah Michelle Gellar (<i>The Grudge</i>)-

Weird cats, kisses of death, an evil presence, dead kids crawling down stairs like spiders ... it must suck to be an exchange student in Japan, as Sarah Michelle Gellar discovers when she ventures into a creepy old house to help care for an old American woman. (All she wanted was a social studies credit!) Points go to everyone involved for giving Sarah Michelle a shower scene, though. (Points deducted for that hand coming out of her head.)

Rachel Bilson (<i>Jumper</i>)-

Despite what you might think of Hayden Christensen, you gotta admit the dude has some amazing luck. Not only did he star in two Star Wars prequels, but even after being terrible in them (and making out with Natalie Portman), he nabbed the lead in another sci-fi flick, this time walking away with co-star Rachel Bilson as his fiancee. Must've been that scene where he takes her for a "jump" to Rome.

Amy Adams (<i>Leap Year</i>)-

Amy got a formulaic romantic comedy out of her system earlier this year, playing a woman who travels to Ireland so she can propose to her boyfriend on Leap Day. There's some crap about an old Irish tradition involved, and of course a surly local innkeeper for her to fall in love with instead. But at least this redhead makes for some nice scenery while watching endless driving through the dreary countryside.

Scarlett Johansson (<i>Lost in Translation</i>)-

There's just something not quite right about Scar-Jo playing the role of an ignored young wife. We don't care how vapid of a husband her character wound up with; this scenario doesn't add up. But we're thankful that Bill "Meestah Bob Harrees" Murray befriends her and kicks it in Japan with her. We're also thankful that he kept it classy and didn't take her to one of those vending machines that distributes underwear.

Angelina Jolie (<i>Beyond Borders</i>)-

This one's a bit of a cheat, as Angie plays a married American socialite living in England before she travels to Ethiopia in order to jump Clive Owens' bones (yeah yeah, there's some humanitarian ideals at work, too). But if you're going to argue semantics instead of looking at a hot picture of Angelina Jolie, you've got bigger problems to worry about.

Lauren German (<i>Hostel Part II</i>)-

The Hostel flicks are so disturbing, it's easy to forget that there are tons of hot chicks to be found in both installments. Well, at least they're hot at the outset. (Seriously, Eli Roth, that was a rough way for Bijou Phillips to go.) And even though triumphant heroine Lauren German gets the last gory laugh at the end of Part II, we won't be traveling to Slovakia any time soon. Make that "ever."

Diane Lane (<i>Under the Tuscan Sun</i>)-

No one plays mature but HOT-T-T-T-T quite like Diane, and this flick found her playing an American writer who travels to Italy in order to find herself (translation: bed a swarthy foreign dude). There's also a lot of scenes that involve renovating a villa, so keep one finger on the fast-forward button at all times.

Alexis Bledel (<i>Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants</i>)-

There's a lot of nonsense about friendship and pants trading to slog through in this, an entry into the worst subgenre of chick flicks (the "young adult" chick flick ... run!), but hell, when you've got a filled-out-nicely Alexis Bledel cruising around the streets of Greece and rebelliously flaunting her parents' wishes (by making time with a Greek fisherman; they can't all be winners), things could be worse.

Meg Ryan (<i>French Kiss</i>)-

While poor Meg Ryan is little more than a punchline these days, there was a time when she ruled the romantic comedy kingdom with a cute iron fist. While sparks may not have flown with a grubby Kevin Kline as her co-star in this romp, we'd gladly frolic around Paris with Meg any time. And this is keeping in mind that there are French people there.

Uma Thurman (<i>Kill Bill</i>)-

Even if you're on a bloodthirsty quest for revenge, it must be nice to be able to see the sights in Tokyo before hacking an entire nightclub full of hired goons to pieces. The statuesque Uma Thurman, in total badass mode as the Bride, is quite a sight herself, and no one has looked at a yellow jumpsuit the same way since. And not just because hers was stained with blood.

Salma Hayek (<i>After the Sunset</i>)-

When we imagine what it would be like to retire to the Bahamas with Salma Hayek in tow, we get extremely depressed because of the likelihood of this happening. Ever. But for those who enjoy torturing themselves, you can pick up Brett Ratner's cat-and-mouse caper to watch old man Pierce Brosnan try and keep up with his spitfire of an accomplice. You suck, Pierce.

Kristen Bell (<i>When in Rome</i>)-

The trailers for this recently released flick led us to believe that Kristen goes to Rome for a wedding and falls for Josh Duhamel (that's Mr. Fergie to you) while there. Turns out there's actually some nonsense about some coins being taken from a fountain and a bunch of suitors chasing her back to NY, one of whom is Danny DeVito. Also, Don Johnson plays her dad. This sounds like a really weird movie.
