Saira Mohan
The ancient Mayan people worshiped several female deities. We’re just keeping up the tradition.

Behind the model: Growing up in the Canadian Rockies, Saira was a self-proclaimed tomboy who loved hockey and even learned how to rope steers. “Then I developed and started getting attention from boys and got in touch with my feminine side,” she says. “The tomboy thing is still part of me. I love my hockey and beer.”

The high life: Not content to be just a muse, Saira has experimented with body painting: “I cover my body in paint and bounce off or roll over the canvas. You never know how it’s going to turn out. Sometimes it’s, like, What the hell is that? And other times it’s, Wow, that’s kind of cool.”

Extra exposure: While you probably missed Saira’s Olay ads, we’re betting you won’t ignore her new Victoria’s Secret campaign.

Tales from the shoot: “I loved the Mayan ruins. It was very stimulating, wearing next to nothing, lying on centuries of history. We also did some poses down in a cave. Picture me in a tiny bikini, lowering myself on a rope into this dark water, not knowing what’s hiding down there. Who says modeling is easy?”

The eyes have her: “If a man can hold my stare, that’s important. I’m drawn to depth and passion. Also, I like him to have hands as big or bigger than mine. If he doesn’t, hopefully he has some other hidden strength.”
