Following is the quintessential list of the most Vegasy movies, intended for play on continuous loop across your numerous TVs. As a courtesy, you should have some headphones plugged in, or switch on the surround sound during that incredible lap dance in Showgirls. |

Concerts…on DVD
Some of the best musical acts in the world appear in Vegas on a regular basis. Unfortunately, they don't all make it to DVD. Here are the slim few.
Elvis: That's the Way It Is (Two-Disc Special Edition)
Britney Spears: Live from Las Vegas
Prince: Live at the Aladdin Las Vegas
The Who: The Vegas Job
Rat Pack: The True Stories of the Original Kings of Cool
This Is Tom Jones
Danny Gans Live!
And when you want people to leave: Celine Dion: Live in Las Vegas: A New Day [Blu-ray]
Video Games
No matter what gaming console you have, it's another way to have some fun and score more cash off your friends.
Gambling: For the purists, there's the classic High Rollers Casino (PS2) and two perfect poker options: The World Series of Poker 2008: Battle for the Bracelets (PS3) and The World Series of Poker: Tournament of Champions (Wii). If you've got some time until your Vegas extravaganza, keep an eye out for This Is Vegas (Xbox 360/PS3), which is due out early next year and appears to be Sin City's answer to GTA.
Multiplayer: Of the few video games set in Vegas, the ultimate multiplayer option is clearly Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (Xbox 360/PS3), which is the perfect primer to put you in the right frame of mind. It's hard as hell, puts you right on the strip, and has loads of action.
Sporty: Games don't need to be set in Vegas to warrant wagering, so throw in any sports game (Madden, NHL, FIFA…) and start playing for cash. For some Vegas flavor, throw in Fight Night Round 3 (Xbox 360/PS3), where you can mix it up in a Vegas-like arena, or Jonny Moseley: Mad Trix (PS2), which has a cool Vegas track.
Driving: Grand Turismo 5 (PS3) doesn't take place in the heart of Vegas, but it has an open-road feel and gives you the perfect excuse to test out Logitech's new Driving Force GT Racing Wheel. (For you gaming nerds out there, Grand Turismo 4 on the PS2 has a Las Vegas drag strip track.)
