Thanks to Alex for tipping us on this obnoxiously awesome hockey rink located, judging by the Oilers and Flames jerseys, somewhere in Alberta, Canada. Obnoxious because we'd need to sell 30 percent of our internal organs on the black market to be able to buy it. Awesome because it's a HOCKEY RINK IN A BACKYARD! What you're actually looking at are two backyards that have been combined to provide space for a mini-rink just big enough for a round of midget hockey, or more practically, some two-on-two action. While the wire fence wrapping around the boards may cause a few runs to the hospital, it looks pretty decently made, even including high-powered lights in case anyone wants to sneak in some late-night checking. Even better is the John Deere Zamboni machine smoothing out the ice. Classic!
