Don't forget that bottled water your drinking right now. A drop of liquid nitrogen is dripped in each bottle as it passes down a conveyor where it is immediately sealed with a cap. The LN2 expands and makes the sides of the bottle firm to allow a company's logo/label wrap to be glued on. This is what makes the bottle seem like it is under pressure when you open it.
Mechanics also use it to freeze shafts prior to placing tight clearance bearings.
Some of that frozen chicken you thawed may have been frozen in a "freeze tunnel".
Many, many uses...
