New study proves that it really is different strokes for different folks!
It’s not just language and restaurant menus that separate countries from each other culturally: It’s also the types of porn that we watch. This new interactive infographic from Porn MD shows the top 10 most-searched types of pornography, not just by country, but even state-by-state here in America. The results might surprise you, but then again, they might not – it really depends where you live. National Pride
Most countries’ top searched term for pornography includes the name of that country, implying that, for a lot of people, patriotism is a pretty intimate feeling. It’s not always the case, however: Canada’s top term is “Asian,” while China prefers Japanese porn, and Kenya very, very specifically wants to look at Aria Giovanni. The saddest entry of all is Belgium, who just wants to see topless photos of neighboring France. Oh, Belgium. We thought you were better than that.
Surprise Entries
Oh, come on, like we were going to be able to resist that headline. Several countries have results that might surprise you – did you know, for example, that super-macho countries like Mexico, Chile, and Libya all have gay porn as their top search term? America’s, meanwhile, is MILF, which should probably give moms of teenage boys pause for thought before allowing that next sleepover. South Africa’s is by far the creepiest entry (Hidden Camera – should we just assume that they enjoy bloopers in their porn?), but Iceland takes the weird-porn cake and then presumably rubs it all over itself, as its top 10 searches include the terms, “hairy anal,” “gay native Americans,” “prostate massage,” “daddy,” and the solitary, troubling word “beast” We just…you know what? Let’s not think about this anymore.
State By State
If you don’t know what “creampie” means in the porn world, we’re not going to explain it here, but just ask someone from the long north-south strip of North Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, and Oklahoma – they all have the term as their top search result (South Dakota is the only exception, with “teen” as its preferred motif). Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and all the way east through Georgia and the Carolinas all prefer “ebony,” while their neighbor to the south, Florida, predictably looks for “teens.” The most surprising find of all, however, is just how cheap Kentucky is – their most-searched term simply reads “free gay porn.”
