DraftKings is doing everything in their power to make Sunday, September 13th the most memorable day of your 2015. 10 million dollars is on the table and your strategy needs to be more nuanced than just taking Aaron Rodgers, Rob Gronkowski and Adrian Peterson. This isn’t Major League Baseball, there is a salary cap in play. You are going to make your money by finding value at each position to complement your superstars. When it comes to the fifteen games on the 13th, this is who you need to target at each position:

Quarterback: Sam Bradford, $6,900 – Eagles Head Coach Chip Kelly could put Justin Bieber at quarterback and get production. Bradford actually happens to have plenty of talent but has been unable to stay healthy. He should be able to make it through one game against a middling Atlanta defense. In the pre-season Bradford went a cool 13-15 for 156 yards with 3 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. Buy low on Bradford and watch him rack up points in an Eagles offense conducive to easy throws, uptempo play-calling and piles of touchdowns.

Running Back: Chris Ivory, $4,100 – Appropriately nicknamed “Baby Beastmode,” Ivory runs like Marshawn Lynch but has unfortunately been held back by an inept coaching staff in recent seasons. There is a new Offensive Coordinator in town by the name Chan Gailey who will not be shy about feeding Ivory over and over again. The Jets lead back should see a minimum of 20 touches in their season debut against the sure to be awful Cleveland Browns.

Wide Receiver: John Brown, $4,500 – Brown turned heads as a rookie and then decided to pull a “Stepbrothers” by moving in with his quarterback, Carson Palmer this off-season. The speedster is a great match with Palmer’s arm strength and to top it off fellow receiver Michael Floyd may not play week 1. This equals that many more targets against a Saints secondary that couldn’t cover your little brother.

Tight End: Delanie Walker, $3,400 – The trusty veteran has been more productive than expected for the Titans and will undoubtedly be a security blanket for rookie Marcus Mariota in his first career start. Walker is a safe bet for at least five targets and should be one of the Titans top options in the red-zone against the Tampa Bay Bucs.

DST: Jaguars, $2,700 – What? The Jaguars? Hear me out. They are playing the Carolina Panthers at home and while Cam Newton is Superman, he is throwing to a collection of high school wide receivers and playing behind a potentially disastrous offensive line. This sets up well for multiple sacks and Cam trying to do too much to compensate for his weak supporting cast, which equals turnovers and points for you.

Flex: Charles Johnson, $4,900 – Let everybody else get excited about Mike Wallace in Minnesota, it is Charles Johnson who is the team’s best receiver. Ascending quarterback Teddy Bridgewater will be peppering Johnson with targets against a San Francisco defense that has been ravaged by injuries, suspensions and unexpected retirements.
